The story of Gerard Daniel began in 1952 when German immigrants Gerard and Ruth Daniel started distributing high-quality wire mesh in the USA. Their promise: "Good quality and exceptionally competitive prices." They quickly became one of the largest distributors in the industry.
Through strategic expansions, such as the acquisition of Wire Weavers in Ireland in 1990 and investments in manufacturing capacities in the USA and Canada, the company steadily grew. With the establishment of the business areas Engineered Solutions and Separator Products, as well as the acquisition of Langley Wire Cloth, Gerard Daniel consistently expanded its expertise in filtration and separation solutions and became the leading manufacturer of complete filters made from wire mesh.
Today, we combine decades of experience and technical expertise from both companies. We develop tailored solutions for a wide range of industries – from aerospace and automotive to food, pharmaceuticals, and oil & gas. Whether it's coffee filters or highly complex sound modulation in aircraft engines: Together with our customers, we tackle tomorrow's technological challenges.
